Teaching

I teach philosophy courses within ACU's Bachelor of Arts (Western Civilisation). This program provides undergraduates with a liberal arts education centered around the great works of the western intellectual tradition from antiquity to the present. In Semester 1 of 2021 I am teaching WPOL100: Origins of Western Political Thought. This course will cover some of the great works of political theory by philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, and Seneca.

I've spent eight summers teaching philosophy courses for the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth. This program provides an opportunity for advanced adolescents to take an intensive university-level course condensed into three weeks. Among the courses I have taught for CTY are Bioethics, Logic, and Ethics.
